Valentine's Day, 2000

From the days before digital ...

I'm finally getting around to scanning my old prints. They're a poor approximation for grainy analog beauty but excellent nonetheless. These will only have meaning for a handful of readers.

Hard to believe that a number of these asses are married.

Warren,
I beg to differ. This must have been V-Day 2000. You guys didnt meet Haywood until Fall '99.

Other than that, these pics are hilarious.

These are brilliant. I must have been in F'Burg that weekend.

My comments:

Lots of tongue action.

The pic of Mikey with the rose is pure art.

I love that the beer Maddy is holding is perfectly in frame in the pic of Lisa dancing.

In the last pic, you look very French.

Ah memories. So young.

Oh wow. :D

I can't believe that was almost ten years ago. I wouldn't have thought that we could look so young then...

One of my long-term (i.e., never likely to come to fruition) goals is to find all these pictures that all of us have scattered everywhere amongst us, and put them all in one place. These are fantastic; especially since the digital pictures from the same period leave just about everything to be desired; go go 1 megapixel cameras! I'm so happy you have these; it's so crazy to see the same event through a different lens (literally).

I bet our kids will wonder how we ever survived without the ability to record every event of even marginal significance.

That being said, I'm still iffy about putting these on Flickr; maybe we are much more cautious about the digital age and privacy than all those coming after us. But hey, if you guys don't mind that I post these, I don't.

Thanks Michelle; correction noted.

Mikey: agreed about privacy. I figured these were pretty innocuous--excepting the glorious skullfucker/skullfuckee pic, though I figured you wouldn't mind--but some others aren't. Tough call now that we're mostly all growed up.

Kinda interesting to think about future liability ... what if Obama had to deal with digital pics of him taking a huge rip (or doing lines) from when he was a teenager?
